1. Who we are

This Privacy Notice describes how Tpc Construction inc (“we”, “us”) processes personal data in the ConstructEst Pro service (“the Service”). Tpc Construction inc is the data controller for personal data it collects through the Service.

2. Data we collect

Account data: name, email, password hash, company name.
Customer & project data you upload: your clients' names, contact information, addresses, project measurements, photos, estimates, and digital signatures.
Usage & device data: log-ins, IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, feature usage.
Support data: messages you send us and related metadata.
Billing data: handled by Paddle (see §5). We receive limited subscription metadata (plan, status, renewal date) but not full card details.

3. Why we use it

Create and secure your account and organization.
Provide the Service (estimates, signatures, PDFs, follow-ups).
Send transactional emails (invitations, follow-ups, receipts).
Prevent fraud and abuse and maintain service security.
Improve the product (aggregate usage analysis, bug fixes).
Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, lawful requests).

4. Legal basis

We rely on: performance of a contract to deliver the Service, legitimate interests to secure and improve the Service and communicate with our users, consent for optional communications where required, and legal obligation for tax and record-keeping.

5. Who we share it with

Paddle — our Merchant of Record for subscription payments, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds.
Hosting & infrastructure providers — application hosting, managed database, storage, and email delivery.
Analytics & error monitoring — limited product analytics to understand usage and diagnose issues.
Professional advisers — legal, accounting and auditors, under confidentiality.
Authorities — where required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Retention

We keep account and project data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or your organization, we delete or anonymize the underlying data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us through the support address in your account. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own by our service providers. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level authorization scoped to your organization. No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password and enable protections offered by your browser and device.

10. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences (language, theme). We may also use limited analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
